Principal and Multimedia Director With the ability to think creatively, technically and strategically, Matt Thomas provides clients with a unique product of branded and polished audio/visual content. As a true (and rare) Abstract Utilitarian, he thrives in the fast-paced world of technology. His considerable abilities include HD and SD broadcast postproduction, world-class photography, Web design, DVD/CD-ROM authoring and music. Matt has developed an in-house, single-room-based approach to broadcast postproduction which helps ThomasARTS to produce broadcast and DVD's much more efficiently than is possible with traditional postproduction facilities. While at ThomasARTS, Matt has enjoyed working with a variety of clients and brands, including Zions Bank; he particularly enjoys projects for this client as they allow him to occupy his favorite positionbehind the lens of a camera. Before co-founding ThomasARTS, Matt worked as a professional photographer and multimedia artist for firms in Utah as well as the Boston Area. He has produced compelling work for Columbia Pictures, LensExpress, Overstock.com, Candle, Iomega, Nestle and UnitedHealthcare. Matt is also considered one of the foremost experts on digital cinematography within the national blogosphere. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Weber State University, where he majored in photography. On those rare occasions when Matt is not seeing life through a filtered lens or refining media content, he enjoys fly-fishing, studying the principles of social engineering and spending time with his wife and three children.
