Matt Schmitt co-founded Reflect in 2001, with the purpose of providing Fortune 1000 companies with an enterprise broadcasting software application to power in-store digital media networks. Reflect's software enables large, geographically dispersed organizations to share and disperse rich media content over distributed corporate networks. In his role as President, Schmitt leads the company's efforts in its mission to empower consumer-facing companies, positively impacting sales and brand equity through the strategic use of in-store digital media solutions. Schmitt believes a brand's story is shaped by each customer's in-store shopping experience, and the right digital media strategy can significantly impact that experience, generating sales lift and deepening brand connection. By providing the tools to control the digital message from the moment customers walk through the door, Reflect contributes to its clients? merchandising success at each location. Furthermore, Schmitt believes in the importance of customizing solutions based on a client's business goals and resources, to ensure the long term success of any in-store digital media network. It's this philosophy, coupled with proven and innovative technology, that has made Reflect a trusted name in the in-store digital media industry. Prior to founding Reflect, Schmitt created and managed the emerging technologies group for Yahoo! Inc., where he worked with business units to develop and deploy rich media solutions to Yahoo! properties. Schmitt also managed several groups at broadcast.com, the pioneering webcasting company which had a successful IPO and was subsequently acquired by Yahoo! Inc. in 1999. Previously, Schmitt managed operations for Fox Sports Direct, the satellite broadcasting unit of Fox Sports. He worked closely with the major sports leagues and cable affiliates to facilitate nationwide delivery and distribution of programming. In addition, he helped facilitate Fox Sports? programming conversion from analog to digital broadcasting, and helped launch new programs, such as NFL Sunday Ticket.
