Known for his attention to detail and general business savvy, Mark, a Certified Public Accountant, is Dovetail's president. Mark's technical and business/accounting background allows him to bridge the gap between Dovetail's business staff and technical support personnel. Having majored in Accounting and a Computer Science Concentration, Mark earned his B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass., in 1992. At Coopers & Lybrand, the largest accounting firm in Western New England, he was responsible for the Mass Mutual Insurance and Travelers Insurance Information Technology Audits as well as the IT audits of all of the clients (approx 500) from both the Hartford, CT, and Springfield, MA, offices. At Kao Info Systems, the largest diskette manufacturer in North America with parent company Kao of Japan, he managed 20 consultants to successfully customize and implement BaaN ERP client/server system replacing a BPCS AS/400 mainframe system in seven locations worldwide. In addition, he converted financial systems and trained and supported the accounting staff. At Dovetail, Mark gets to exercise his passion for helping others solve complex problems while satisfying his entrepreneurial spirit. Mark makes his home in Southbridge with his wife Melissa and their three children.
