Our job takes us on a variety of adventures providing opportunities to assist and support our clients in overcoming their challenges and achieving their goals. Why do you like working at MGO? It is rare today that you find one company to spend your entire career with, but I have found it at MGO. The exceptional leadership, forward-thinking attitude and abundant opportunity excited me as I developed through the ranks from staff to partner. I believe in the people at MGO and admire their drive to always strive for excellence. Describe a favorite client or client story. In my experience many organizations are challenged with financial reporting. What makes a client great to work with is their desire to try and willingness to research and interpret the standards in order to develop solutions that can be further explored and debated to get to the best resolution. What qualities do you look for in job applicants? Grades are important, but I want to know: What else have you done?? I look for leadership positions held, work and/or volunteer work experience, and other social and academic activities candidates have participated in that shape who they are beyond accounting. Who are you outside the office? Out of the office you can find my husband and me in the desert, on the water or underwater living life while enjoying extreme sports (off-road motor sports, jet skiing, and scuba diving). I also enjoy reading and cooking.
