Leslie Pendergrast is Chief People Officer at Sourcefire, responsible for human resources strategy and programs on a global basis. She joined the company in February 2009 with a wealth of experience in human resource management and proven strength in building human resources infrastructure to support organizational growth. Pendergrast's career in the field of human resources spans nearly 20 years, including management roles at American Express, Certified Vacations/Alamo, and Citrix Systems, Inc. During her nearly decade-long tenure at Citrix, Pendergrast held a similar role and was responsible for developing and leading a human resources organization to support the company's growth from an 80-person company to a global enterprise of approximately 2,500 employees. In 2005, she left Citrix to build a fitness and wellness business and later to form a consulting company focused on human resource practice improvement. Pendergrast holds a B.A. from Florida Atlantic University and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University
