Mr. Burdman is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Redstone Investments. He has been involved in the real estate business for more than 25 years. His extensive experience started with Burdman Brothers Companies (a family-held real estate development firm based out of Youngstown, OH) managing existing properties, procurement of financing and leasing new space. Additionally, he was involved in numerous new development projects. In 1987, Mr. Burdman and his cousin Jonathan Levy, started JLB Investments which in 1991 became Redstone Investments. Redstone is a development, management and acquisitions company focusing on shopping center development. The company is headquartered in Youngstown, Ohio, with an office in Tampa, Florida. Redstone's portfolio comprises over 3.6 million square feet of commercial real estate located in 13 states. Mr. Burdman serves on the Board of Directors of Simco Management Corp. in Girard, Ohio. Simco is a full service Apartment management company that owns and manages more than 3200 apartments and 400 Mobile home sites throughout northeastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Additionally related entities are involved in the exploration and production of Natural Gas and Oil. Currently, Simco entities own and operate more than 450 wells. In addition to, he currently serves on the Mahoning Valley Regional Advisory Board of Huntington National Bank and as a member of the Board of Directors of Cardinal Commerce Corporation. Cardinal Commerce is engaged in the business of authentication of electronic payments and enabling secure transactions and mobile payments for both e-commerce and mobile commerce. He has served on this board since its inception in 2000. Redstone Principals have also invested as Private equity partners in numerous companies in a variety of industries such as Technology, Oil and Gas Exploration and a variety of other businesses in both early stage capital and beyond. Mr. Burdman holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of Michigan, College of Literature, Science & Arts. Mr. Burdman is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Over the years he has served on numerous community oriented Boards including Youngstown Area Jewish Federation, Temple El Emeth, Youngstown State University Foundation and the Youngstown Jewish Community Center.
