Lawrence E. Beavers, Jr. Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer Email: [email protected] Mr. Lawrence E. Beavers, Jr. is chief financial officer of Advanced Resource Technologies Inc. He joined ARTI in 1993 where he currently provides management and leadership for a staff of professionals who are responsible for corporate finance, human resources, facilities, and contracts. Mr. Beavers received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from American University in Washington in 1977. In 1980, he earned his Masters degree in Financial Management from George Washington University, also in the District of Columbia. Prior to joining ARTI, Mr. Beavers worked as a financial analyst with General Research Corporation and with DeLeuw, Cather and Company. He joined Presearch, Inc. in 1980 and worked as controller until 1985 before moving to Automated Business Systems to oversee their controller operations. Mr. Beavers was sought after by developing Washington, DC companies to fill key positions in corporate financial operations. From 1987 to 1992, he was employed by RJO Enterprises, Inc. in Lanham, Maryland as deputy controller, and with Digicon Corporation, Bethesda, Maryland, as director of finance.
