Born into a military family on a U.S. base in Germany, you could say Laura Burgess was destined to do what she does. Growing up, Laura had a love for the outdoors early. She horseback rode, camped and white water rafted. In her later years, it was a temping job at SIG SAUER that reintroduced her to her military roots. By the end of her thirteen year career at SIG SAUER, she had gone from a temp to the Director of Public Relations. In 2003, Laura founded what is now known today as Laura Burgess Marketing. Here she combined her PR and Marketing experience with her industry know how and has created a well known PR / Marketing firm within the military, law enforcement, hunting and shooting sports markets. In her spare time, Laura enjoys dabbling in shotgun sports, target shooting and bird hunting. She even participated in her first Three-Gun Match in July 2009 as part of the Laura Burgess Marketing Team. Having lived on the New Hampshire seacoast for 23 years, Laura also enjoys spending her time fishing and boating.
