Krishna Rangasayee is general manager for the communications business unit, with responsibility for strategy, growth and execution to accelerate the company's expansion in the wired and wireless communications market. Rangasayee joined Xilinx in 1999 and has 18 years of experience in the semiconductor industry in engineering, business development, corporate strategy, strategic marketing, and product definition. Most recently, he was responsible for corporate strategy, portfolio management, and growth initiatives. Before that, he led Xilinx's platform strategy and architecture definition for next-generation platforms. Previously, Rangasayee was responsible for the vertical markets and partnerships team, with responsibility for the company's diversification into new markets and expansion in existing markets. In this role, Rangasayee led multiple marketing campaigns and initiatives to establish Xilinx as an industry leader in key market segments, in addition to managing the company's third party ecosystem program. Rangasayee has a bachelor's of engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India, an MSEE from Mississippi State University, and completed the executive management program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has authored, published and presented in 70+ conferences, journals, and trade publications worldwide. Rangasayee holds more than 25 international patents.
