Kevin's focus is on improving employee performance for RLS clients through the creation of engaging, strategically driven learning solutions that drive measurable business results. In his role at RLS, he handles oversight and management of all RLS commercial learning projects and is responsible for leading high-impact simulation projects from the analysis phase through all stages of implementation. An accomplished business consultant, performance consultant, and instructional designer with more than a dozen years of experience in the learning and development sector, Himmel has led more than 100 client learning projects across a wide array of industries while at RLS. He specializes, in particular, in working with Fortune 500 organizations such as Ernst & Young, McDonald's, and Hyatt Corporation to implement large-scale learning and performance improvement programs. Prior to joining RLS, Himmel worked for eCollege, an educational technology company, and KLi (formerly LogicBay Corporation), a corporate training firm, in a variety of capacities, including product development and e-learning instructional design. He holds a master's degree in instructional technology from Northern Illinois University and a bachelor's degree in management and entrepreneurship from Northern Illinois University.
