Ken Kirk's Email & Phone

Ken grew up in Brookings, SD and graduated from high school there in 1971. He has been active in funeral service since 1974, interning at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings while studying at South Dakota State University. After graduating from mortuary school at the University of Minnesota, he worked at Miller-Huebl Funeral Home in Aberdeen and then at Behrens Mortuary in Rapid City before opening Rooks & Kirk Funeral Home in 1998. Ken and his wife, Nancy, also from Brookings, have resided in Rapid City since 1985 and have two sons, Robert A. Kirk, DDS and Jonathan A. Kirk, both of Rapid City. They are members of Canyon Lake United Methodist Church in Rapid City. Ken and Nancy have been active in numerous organizations within the community throughout the years and both enjoy a good workout at The Weight Room or taking a long walk around the neighborhood. Ken is currently Treasurer for the Front Porch Coalition in Rapid City and Secretary/Treasurer for the South Dakota Funeral Director's Association.
