Kelly is a passionate advocate for the underdog who takes on corporations to end unfair and illegal business practices that hurt employees and consumers. Daily Journal, 2006 An experienced litigator, highlights of Kelly's achievements include successfully litigating employment discrimination, wage/hour, and misclassification cases for employees around the country, as well as in a series of consumer protection class action lawsuits against California's main hospital chains for the exorbitant and unconscionable pricing of medical care for the uninsured. As a result of the improper pricing settlements, uninsured patients have saved over $1 billion. Based on her work in one of these groundbreaking cases, Kelly received the prestigious California Lawyer of Year (CLAY) award in 2007. Additional Engagements Kelly is a leader in organizations devoted to serving the public interest, improving access to justice, and ensuring that the rights of historically disenfranchised persons are protected. Kelly serves as the President-Elect of the Bar Association of San Francisco and Member of the Governing Council of the ABA's Labor and Employment Law Section.
