Kathy Stanek is the Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP). She is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the non-profit professional association providing federal tax services and support for tax professionals nationwide. Stanek joined NATP in 1996 as the Customer Service Manager, and was later promoted to Director of Member Services, a position she held until 2001. At that time, she was chosen to assume the role of CEO. Prior to joining NATP, Stanek was a Marketing Services Manager with National Premium & Merchandising from 1993-1996, and a Director of Marketing and Sales Promotion Services with Wisconsin National Life Insurance Company from 1989-1993. Stanek graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree. She is currently a member of the American Society of Association Executives, Wisconsin Society of Association Executives, Diverse Populations Advisory Committee at Fox Valley Technical College, TEAM Fox Cities Incentives Task Force Committee, and the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce.
