Julie Cerese's Email & Phone

Ms. Cerese leads the UHC Imperatives for Quality (IQ) Program and the Analytic Services group. She also provides direction for the annual Quality and Accountability Study, as well as UHC's hospital accreditation preparedness and compliance program and the UHC Patient Safety Net®. Ms. Cerese's substantial knowledge of clinical quality improvement was recently supplemented by her service as director of quality and infection control at Chicago's Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Earlier she served as senior director of UHC's Clinical Process Improvement area. Ms. Cerese holds a master's and a bachelor's degree in nursing from the Loyola University Chicago Niehoff School of Nursing, where she is also currently pursuing a doctoral degree. She is the author of many journal articles on quality, performance improvement, and other clinical topics.
