Jordan H. Mintz is Vice President and Chief Tax Officer of Kinder Morgan, one of the largest pipeline transportation and energy storage companies in North America. The Kinder Morgan companies include Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE: KMP), Kinder Morgan Management, LLC (NYSE: KMR) and Kinder Morgan, Inc, a private entity. Mr. Mintz joined Kinder Morgan in June of 2006 and oversees administration of the corporate and partnership tax planning, compliance and reporting functions for the company. Prior to joining Kinder Morgan in 2006, Mr. Mintz served as Senior Vice President - Tax at Centex Corporation, a Fortune 250 homebuilder and financial services company. In addition, he served as Managing Director - Corporate Tax at Enron Corporation, Tax Partner at Bracewell & Giuliani and Senior Tax Attorney at Exxon Corporation. Mr. Mintz holds an LLM from New York University School of Law, a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania. Kinder Morgan owns an interest in or operates more than 37,000 miles of pipelines that transport primarily natural gas, refined petroleum products, CO2 and crude oil; and 180 terminals that store, transfer and handle such products as gasoline, ethanol, coal, petroleum coke and steel. Kinder Morgan, Inc. owns the general partner interest of Kinder Morgan Energy Partners. Kinder Morgan Management is a limited liability company and its only significant assets are the partnership units it owns in KMP. Combined, Kinder Morgan has an enterprise value of approximately $55 billion.
