John Pinson, Vice President and Chief Technical Officer. Prior to joining Stanadyne in September 2009, Mr. Pinson served as Vice President, Diesel and Large Engines as well as Acting Vice President, Business Development and Marketing for Ricardo. Prior to joining Ricardo, John spent 14 years with General Motors where he worked in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility within the R&D and Powertrain organizations including the FIAT-GM Powertrain joint venture in Turin, Italy. John holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on diesel combustion technology, from Pennsylvania State University. John also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
