John M. Lemmon is a partner with Knox Lemmon Anapolsky & Schrimp, LLP, and serves as its Manager. Mr. Lemmon is a third generation Sacramentan. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree with highest honors, from the University of California at Davis in 1976. He subsequently earned his Juris Doctorate in 1979 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, in San Francisco. While in law school, Mr. Lemmon served as a student member of the Admissions Committee, and was selected to the Moot Court Board. Mr. Lemmon was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1979, and is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is an active member of the Sacramento County Bar Association and the State Bar of California. Mr. Lemmon's practice includes forming and representing local and national businesses in a counseling and transactional capacity. He also oversees the Firm's estate planning and probate practice. Mr. Lemmon served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Point West Rotary Club from 1994-1996. He is a member of the Board of Directors and Past President of the Jesuit High School Alumni Association, and a member of the Jesuit High School and Loretto High School booster organizations. He is also a past active member of the Active 20-30 Club of Sacramento.
