John Ducker serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of APP Pharmaceuticals. A member of the Fresenius Kabi AG Management Board since 2006, he is responsible for the North America Region, which is comprised of the United States and Canada. Mr. Ducker began his career with the Fresenius Group in 1989, and has worked in various international management positions for Fresenius Kabi. He was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of APP North America in January 2010. Previously, he led the Fresenius Kabi Innovation Centre in Oberursel, Germany, managing worldwide research and development, along with strategic marketing activities for the organization. He previously served as Fresenius Kabi's Executive Vice President of Region Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Africa. In this capacity, he oversaw the division's businesses in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Benelux, Canada and South Africa. Mr. Ducker holds both a first-class Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University.
