Johan Skog, PhD Director of Research Dr. Johan Skog has served since July 2010 as the Director of Genetics Research for Exosome DX. He was an instructor (Junior Faculty) and an assistant in Neurology at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital whose major research interests were virology, gene therapy, brain tumors and biomarker discovery. He is a co-inventor of several U.S.A. Patents, including "Renal exosome transcripts as biomarkers of chronic kidney disease." Dr. Skog was a lecturer at Umeå University (Umeå, Sweden) in Medicine, Biomedicine, Tumor Biology, Technical Biology and Dentistry on the topics of gene therapy, viral vaccines, prion diseases, the life cycle of DNA viruses and viral infections of the central nervous system. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science at Griffith University (Brisbane, Australia), and his Masters and PhD at Umeå University.
