Jim brings 22 years of software development, systems engineering, IT support and executive management experience to Earth Class Mail. Prior to joining the company, Jim was VP of IT at New Edge Networks (acquired by EarthLink) with responsibility for all software development, systems engineering, database administration and help-desk functions. During his time there, Jim was successful in integrating two separate acquired companies into the architecture, applications and processing platforms at New Edge Networks. He also led efforts that resulted in 100% Sarbanes-Oxley compliance following the EarthLink merger. Before joining New Edge Networks, Jim worked in various technology capacities for companies such as EDS, Freightliner, AVIA, Nike, Consolidated Freightways and Maxtek Components Corporation. Jim has a bachelor's degree in computer systems engineering from Oregon Institute of Technology.
