Jim Roherty is President of Pacific Building Group and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company. With over 25 years in the construction industry, he serves as an invaluable resource for project personnel and ensures that the highest level of service is provided to our clients. Jim's wealth of experience includes the design, build-out and construction of more than 3 million square feet of office and retail space as the Vice President of Construction for American Assets, Inc., a full service real estate company specializing in investment, development and management. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of one of San Diego's oldest construction firms and supervised numerous commercial and institutional projects. Jim was responsible for the successful execution of several signature San Diego projects, including Sony's Engineering and Manufacturing facility, Insurance Company of the West Headquarters, Gateway Computer Headquarters, Hewlett-Packard Building 8, Sharp-Rees Steely Medical Office Building, and La Jolla Village Square Shopping Center. "As president, Jim brings to Pacific Building Group an extraordinary skill set and unprecedented level of experience in all facets of the construction industry," said Greg Rogers, CEO. Jim graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction and was president of the college chapter of the Associated General Contractors. He also received the Outstanding Senior Award from the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, while attending ASU.
