Jim came to IYF in 2003 with 13 years of corporate marketing and sales experience. Over this time Jim held several executive-level positions within the AB Electrolux Group (Sweden), including 7 years living and working in South East Asia where he led the company's regional product development and marketing activities as Vice President of Product Marketing. Between 1997 and 2000, Jim also served as General Manager for the company's Singapore and Malaysia operations. Realizing a need within the NGO community for a corporate skill set, Jim left the business world in 2001 so that he could apply his international marketing, management, and strategic planning experiences to benefit a social cause. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business and Spanish from the Pennsylvania State University (1986). He also earned his Masters Degree (MPM, 2002) from Carnegie Mellon University. Jim speaks Spanish and has traveled to 75 countries.
