As the chief financial officer at Geotechnology, Jim ensures that day-to-day financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. Prior to becoming C.F.O., Jim managed the Drilling Technical Group for over 18 years and was integral in helping build the company's drilling division into a recognized industry leader in Missouri. He is also vice president and a minority owner of the firm. He approaches all projects with the company's core values of teamwork and partnership in mind, and although he no longer manages the drilling technical group, Jim remains actively involved in drilling projects. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Drilling Association, a national organization dedicated to the training and certification of professional geo-environmental drilling contractors, and holds a Bachelor of Science in petroleum engineering from the University of Tulsa. In his free time, he enjoys coaching youth baseball and football for his sons, and he is an avid golfer who would enjoy more time to play.
