Jerry is a co-founder of Sansay. He previously served as VP of technology at Nuera Communications, where as a member of the founding team, he lead the system design and architecture of several generations of high-density, carrier-grade VOIP gateways, softswitches and remote digital terminals. At Nuera he had significant involvement with CableLabs? PacketCable initiative and served as a technical liaison for cable telephony prospects and customers. Nuera's was the first carrier-grade VOIP gateway to receive CableLabs certification. Previously Jerry served as director of DSP development and systems engineering in management roles at Cirrus Logic/PCSI and SAIC. His 17 years experience in the design and development of packet based voice systems began at M/A Com / Linkabit in 1987, where he was responsible for DSP firmware development used in military application of packet voice technologies. Jerry holds a BSEE from the University of Michigan and an MSCS from UCSD.
