Responsibilities Ms. Silver co-founded Redwood Investments in 2004 and is responsible for day-to-day management of the firm. She serves as co-portfolio manager for all three equity investment strategies and has primary research coverage responsibilities for consumer and health care stocks. In addition, she directs the Redwood marketing effort and is the primary Redwood contact for institutions and consultants. She is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and has 29 years of investment experience. Prior to Redwood Investments Ms. Silver has extensive investment management experience including creating and developing products, building and managing investment teams, and delivering consistently strong investment performance. She managed several 4 & 5-star Morningstar rated funds during her career. Previously, Ms. Silver was a Managing Director and Head of Growth Equity for Neuberger Berman where she launched the firm's growth investing capabilities. Under her direction, the Growth Equity business grew to more than $5 billion in assets. Prior to Neuberger Berman, she spent 16 years at Putnam Investments culminating with a senior leadership role as a Managing Director. Ms. Silver was responsible for starting and building the $5 billion Putnam Mid-Cap Growth business serving institutional, mutual fund, and variable annuity clients.
