Jeffrey M. Saltzman is CEO of OrgVitality and an Associated Fellow at the Center for Leadership Studies, School of Management, at Binghamton University. Prior, Mr. Saltzman served as East Coast Practice Leader for Kenexa, an HR consulting firm, and as CEO for Sirota, an employee survey firm. He is credited with driving technological improvements now commonly seen in the survey industry, creating a business model focused on scientific rigor while focusing on business practicality and bottom-line results. Mr. Saltzman has over 25 years' experience in the field of Industrial/Organizational Psychology, working in the areas of survey research, strategic planning, organizational development, selection and assessment, training and succession planning. He is a pioneer of new concepts such as Variance Optimization, the application of six-sigma principles to organizational culture and most recently he created the concept of Employee Confidence -- how to measure it, its impact on performance, and how to utilize it to improve organizational performance. He has extensive experience in diverse settings, consulting financial services, retail, media, high technology, service companies, not-for-profits and government agencies on how to improve organizational performance. Based in New York, he has traveled and worked extensively in Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. The author of several books and book chapters including A Moose in the Distance (2007), Well, I Don t Think that is Going to Grow Back (2008), Five Global Truths (2008), My Jeans are Irregular" (2009); appearing in Building High Performance People and Organizations and Strategic Surveying in the Global Marketplace (coming 2010).
