Jeffrey S. Gerchick, a partner in the firm's Washington, DC office, has 14 years of experience in all phases of trial and appellate proceedings. Since joining Kenyon in 1997, Mr. Gerchick's practice has focused primarily on intellectual property litigation before the U.S. District Courts, the ITC and the Federal Circuit, with a particular emphasis on patent litigation. He has been trial counsel in cases involving patent and copyright issues concerning a wide range of technologies, including hybrid electric vehicles, computer hardware and software, wireless communications, data networking protocols, consumer electronics, integrated circuit design, digital audio formats, and semiconductor chip fabrication. In addition, Mr. Gerchick prepares opinions and counsels clients on issues relating to patent infringement and validity, and advises clients concerning the licensing of intellectual property rights and the settlement of disputes. Mr. Gerchick earned his B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1994 and his J.D., cum laude, from the Boston University School of Law in 1997.
