In 2005 , Jim Mash readily accepted Purafil, Inc.'s Presidential reins after devoting the previous thirteen years to Purafil in a variety of management roles. As President/CEO, Mr. Mash leads the global day-to-day operations of Purafil. His tireless leadership efforts have proven successful; within his first 12 months as President, Purafil experienced record-breaking sales. Mr. Mash has a comprehensive understanding of Purafil, the intricate aspects of each department and the necessity for all the departments to work simultaneously to ensure continued success. Prior to his appointment as President, Mr. Mash learned the integral avenues of Purafil by attaining multiple roles in upper management. During his time as Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations and Corporate Vice President, he repeatedly produced sustainable growth in revenues, markets and product development. His extensive background in international business, multicultural environments and ISO Quality procedures is crucial in fostering corporate partnerships around the globe including such high profile companies as Ingersoll-Rand, YOKOGAWA, Carrier and Honeywell. The Pennsylvania native began his career as a Union Sheet Metal Worker, quickly moving on to managing projects in the mechanical contracting industry. He ultimately negotiated and managed the mechanical aspects of major ventures such as Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, often touted as the world's busiest airport, Glaxo Pharmaceuticals in Research Triangle and a variety of other significant facility projects in the southeastern United States. Immediately before joining Purafil, he directed business development at McKenney's, Inc. in Atlanta. Mr. Mash was recently invited to serve on the Governor's Manufacturers Roundtable due to his instrumental involvement in the Georgia Industry Association (GIA). He is also an active member of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). He cherishes his 38-year union with his wife Cristi; they have two grown children, Monica and Jamie. Mr. Mash has one grandchild but is hoping for more. To escape the demands of the corporate world, Jim enjoys spending time with his family, jogging and attempting to perfect his golf swing. He also continues to referee High School and NCAA Div-I, II & III Soccer as he has for the last 18 years.
