Jake Ryan, as CEO, works closely with the VCG management team to set strategic direction and foster innovation within the firm. He works closely with his team to define process and believes at the core a business implements process to measure and therefore has the capability to continously improve. Ryan has been involved in several high-tech companies, including management positions in two national consulting firms. Ryan has over fifteen years experience in the technology arena and has consulted on over fifty client engagements where he has specialized his expertise in building start-ups, Internet product development, Software-as-a-Service, business collaboration portals & online marketing/commerce. He is degreed, published and certified in software technology. He was a system architect with certifications such as a Microsoft Certified Professional and an IBM Certified Developer / Solution Designer. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin, a US News Top 10 Computer Science school. And, he was a featured speaker at Neural Information Processing Systems Conference (NIPS) where he published Intrusion Detection with Neural Networks? which is currently cited by 43 in the field.
