Jaimee Marshall joined Kirk Palmer & Associates after a diverse career in apparel and publishing. In addition to working on high level search assignments in the specialty retail, luxury and fashion arena, her responsibilities include working with the private equity community, new business development and all marketing initiatives. Jaimee started her career at Escada in 1985 and rose through the ranks to become Vice President of Operations in 1991, and then Vice President of Marketing in 1993. In 1997, Jaimee left to launch a consulting practice where she helped a number of companies make strategic and operational changes in their businesses. Her clients included top international and domestic luxury brands. In 2001, one of her clients - Fairchild Publications (publisher of Women's Wear Daily, DNR, Footwear News, HFN and others), hired her to become General Manager of Fairchild Internet and to launch WWD.com. During her tenure at Fairchild, she repositioned Fairchild Summits and hosted the first WWD/DNR CEO Summit in New York City, where she met Kirk as one of the event's speakers and sponsors. In addition, she worked on a host of strategic projects for the CEO of Fairchild, including several directly related to best practices in talent management. Jaimee was also responsible for foreign licensing, syndication and the company's content archives and classified advertising business. Jaimee is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. A native New Yorker, Jaimee and her husband live in Manhattan with their two daughters.
