Isam (Sam) Khoury is a 1970 graduate of the University of California at San Diego with a law degree from U.C. Hastings Law School in 1973. He has practiced continuously focusing on civil litigation having tried numerous matters, both jury and non-jury, including class actions. His experience has been acknowledged in appellate decisions and he has earned a Martindale Hubbell AV rating. His most recent class action verdict was in the State of Hawaii for approximately $3.5 million on behalf of child support recipients. In recent years, Mr. Khoury has emphasized wage and hour class action litigation, including all aspects of overtime eligibility and the evolving case law of California and federal employment law. He has been approved as a CLE lecturer and has participated in seminars on class action wage and hour issues, the complexities of mediation, and the procedural requirements involved in class action settlements and has mediated to successful conclusion over forty wage and hour class actions.
