Howard Alper founded Alper Services LLC in 1966. His vision and goals have always been to provide businesses with superior insurance services that specialize in reducing risk and maximizing value. For over 50 years, Howard has built long-lasting relationships with sophisticated Clients who have had complex needs and risks, and developed strategic alliances with many highly qualified insurance carriers and professionals. Recognized for his knowledge in Risk Management, Howard has been a columnist, editor and contributing author to many national business and insurance publications He directs seminars for the Chicago Association of Commerce and Industry, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Foundation, and numerous law firms, banks and accounting firms. As a guest speaker, Howard shares his expertise with many industry institutions including the Financial Executives Institute in Chicago and the John Marshall Law School. Howard's professional designations include Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter, Associate in Risk Management, Graduate Fire Rate Engineer, Licensed Public Adjuster, and Expert Witness with the Defense Research Institute. Howard is past Chairman of the New Century Bank Advisory Board and a member of Better Government Association Board of Directors. He is Vice Chairman of La Rabida Children's Hospital Board of Trustees in Chicago, having served in various Board capacities and Committee Chairs since 1976.
