Hank has been a software application developer for over 20 years, with experience in a wide variety of programming languages, including Visual Basic, SQL Server, Active Server Pages (ASP) and others. In 1979, Hank founded a company that provided timesharing and application development services for school districts in northern California. Several years later, back at home in Virginia, Hank started Luhring & Associates, a custom software development company whose clients included Norfolk Southern and Volvo. In 2000, Hank decided to write a Web based tracking application using SQL Server as the database. This product later became IssueTrak. Hank studied Computer Science and Human Factors at Old Dominion University.
