Haley Fisackerly - President and Chief Executive Officer of Entergy Mississippi, Inc. Haley Fisackerly serves as president and chief executive officer of Entergy Mississippi, Inc., and is responsible for the company's electric distribution system, customer service, economic development, regulatory affairs and governmental affairs activities. He was named president and CEO in June 2008. Fisackerly joined Entergy in 1995. Prior to his current role, he spent one year at Entergy Nuclear as the vice president of governmental and regulatory affairs. From 2002 to 2007, he served as Entergy Mississippi's vice president of customer operations. In this role, Fisackerly created the customer operations organization by combining economic development, customer service and commercial and industrial accounts functions. The reorganization leveraged and enhanced the capabilities of each department, producing greater efficiencies, cross-discipline support and teamwork. Fisackerly also led initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and raise Entergy Mississippi's visibility in the community, and he was a key member of the company's leadership team during the Hurricane Katrina restoration effort. Under Fisackerly's leadership, Entergy Mississippi has earned recognition for the company's economic development efforts. The Mississippi Economic Development Council chose Entergy Mississippi as a district winner of the Governor's Cup in 2009. The company's economic development team has also been recognized by Site Selection magazine, a national publication covering the business development and corporate real estate industries. Also during Fisackerly's tenure as president, Entergy Mississippi's Destination Education program, launched to enhance the state's public education system, was named a finalist in the Platts Global Energy Awards. The same program also received the 2010 Governor's Award from the Mississippi Association of Partners in Education, the organization's most prestigious tribute. In addition, Entergy Mississippi's customer satisfaction scores as measured by J.D. Power and Associates have steadily risen under Fisackerly's leadership J.D. Power and Associates has recognized the company's customer satisfaction improvement at a national level. Fisackerly grew up in Columbus, Miss., and graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration from Mississippi State University. He earned a master's degree in public policy administration with an emphasis in executive, legislative and regulatory management from George Washington University. Before joining Entergy, Fisackerly served for several years on the staff of U.S. Senator Thad Cochran, where he managed Cochran's Washington office. He also assisted the senator with economic development projects in Mississippi as well as legislative matters related to energy policy, the environment and interior appropriations. Fisackerly left Senator Cochran's office in 1995 to join Entergy's Washington, D.C. office. In 1999, he moved to Little Rock, Ark., where he was director of system regulatory strategy. He returned to Mississippi in June 2002. Fisackerly serves on numerous statewide and Jackson-area boards, including the Mississippi Economic Council, the Mississippi Museum of Art, Mississippi Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors, Momentum Mississippi, Mississippi Energy Policy Institute, Mississippi State University Foundation Board of Directors, Jackson State University Foundation Board of Directors, St. Andrew's Episcopal School and the Dixie National Sale of Junior Champions. He and his wife Allison have two sons and live in Jackson.
