Gregory A. Burton Gregory A. Burton, MBA, is President and Chief Executive Officer of BrickStreet Mutual Insurance Company. He oversees policy direction, leadership, strategic plan implementation and budget development for BrickStreet. He also serves on Charleston City Council and the Board of Directors for the Charleston Alliance. A graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Master's degree in business administration, and a graduate of the University of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing/management finance, Burton was appointed Acting Commissioner of the Bureau of Employment Programs and Executive Director of Workers' Compensation by then Governor Bob Wise on April 4, 2003. Previously, he served as Cabinet Secretary of Administration from January 2001 to April 2003, and was City Manager of Charleston from 1998 to 2000; as Chairman and former Board Member of the West Virginia Health Care Authority, from 1995 to 1998; as Assistant Vice President, Investment Banking with Ferris, Baker, Watts, from 1994 to 1998; as Vice President, Head of Corporate Trust with Bank One, from 1985 to 1993; and as Assistant Vice President of Bank of West Virginia from 1983 to 1985.
