In 1997, Gregg Mylett founded Corporate United, the nation's largest group purchasing organization. As the founder and chief executive officer, he oversees all functions of the business. Prior to founding Corporate United, Mr. Mylett served as a national accounts manager for two office products suppliers for 13 years. While in those roles, he serviced a client base comprised of large national corporations and worked very closely with cooperative groups in both the higher education and health care industries. Through his combined knowledge of the office products industry and his dealings in strategic sourcing and cooperative groups, Mr. Mylett developed a unique business model in Corporate United. Mr. Mylett's original vision of a horizontal group purchasing organization, focused on sourcing and the management of indirect spend contracts, has attracted the nation's leading corporations from every industry sector. Since the company's inception, Corporate United has grown to become the world's largest virtual organization, with revenues of more than $500 billion and over 1.7 million active employees. In 2007, Mr. Mylett was honored with an FAO Superstar? award by Finance & Accounting Outsourcing Today magazine. He is also an active member in the Council of Small Enterprises (COSE) and plays an active role in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Mr. Mylett graduated from of Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a major in marketing.
