Wright serves as Managing Principal for the Highland Capital Brokerage - Chicago office. Gary began his insurance career as a Brokerage Sales Representative with Great-West Life in 1981. He was a Regional Sales Manager with UNUM from 1985 to 1989. From 1989 to 1992, Gary was the Regional Manager for GWL in Chicago where he was a consistent Award of Excellence recipient and sat on the Managers' Advisory Council. Gary conducted a brokerage sales study with DePaul University in 1983 and co-authored an article on the results in the CLU Journal. This study has impacted the way many insurance companies conduct brokerage distribution today. Gary was a founding member of AIN. He has been a five-year National Management Award recipient and a three-year Master Agency Award holder. He is an active member of the Strategic Coach program and has been a featured speaker on several occasions working closely with Dan Sullivan, the founder.
