Frank Ripa is a Professional Engineer with multiple licenses and extensive experience in all phases of civil engineering and construction. Frank Ripa's licenses include: General Contractor, Underground and Excavation Contractor, Pollutant Storage System Contractor and Fire Protection System Contractor V. A Graduate of USF with a B.S. in Civil Engineering (1973), Ripa has worked in engineering and construction for over 30 years in West Central Florida. He has worked as an engineer and project manager for the City of Tampa, Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council, Housel & Associates and Post, Buckley Schuh & Jernigan, Inc. In 1981, Ripa and David Maltby formed Florida Land Design & Engineering, Inc. (FLD&E). By 1989, FLD&E had grown to 250 people and over $12.0 in annual revenue. FLD&E was sold to Dames & Moore (D&M) in 1989. At D&M, Ripa served as Division Manager for the Eastern Division Design Group where his responsibilities included coordination of design activities, building a design group and acquisitions. In 1993, he left D&M to head up Florida Remediation Services, Inc.'s (FRS) environmental construction activities and later the Infrastructure Division. In June 1998, Mr. Ripa purchased the Infrastructure Division of FRS, Inc. and changed the name to RIPA & Associates. Mr. Ripa's primary technical strength is his ability to manage complex land development projects from their inception through completion.
