L. Frank Melazzo, a managing director in the Charlotte, NC office, has more than 25 years of experience as a veteran financial advisor, and has served as interim CEO and chief restructuring officer for numerous companies. He also has extensive expertise as a lender to both national and regional finance lending operations. Since joining Getzler Henrich, Frank has worked in a wide range of engagements, providing assistance to companies both in and out of Chapter 11, as well as to lenders on both prospective and existing debtor provided projections. Among the many industries he has served include top-tier automotive parts manufacturers, ferrous and non-ferrous scrap processors, lumber and hardwood flooring producers, steel products manufacturers, and many specialty lending operations and service companies. Previously, Mr. Melazzo was a lender for Bank of America, Fleet Bank and Chrysler Capital. He was responsible for customer relationships with credit facilities ranging from less than $1 million dollars to over $750 million. He also provided debtor-in-possession financing to many customers, working with them to reorganize in Chapter 11. Mr. Melazzo is active in the Turnaround Management Association and Association for Corporate Growth.
