Frank began his career with Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) in 1985, where he was product manager for the nation's first commercial deployment of caller ID services. In 1988, he joined Bell Atlantic Mobile (now Verizon Wireless), first as manager of business planning and later as Director of European Business Development. He was a key member of the teams that won licenses to provide nationwide cellular services in Italy, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. In 1993, Frank left Bell to become Director of Business Planning for AccessLine Technologies, drafting private placement memoranda and overseeing road shows that led to $30 million in equity financing. As the company's Vice President of Product Management and later Vice President of Asia, he was responsible for over $20 million in system sales, as well the installation of sophisticated telecommunications systems in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Singapore, and Japan. Most recently, Frank co-founded and served as Vice-President of New Century GlobalNet, a broadband service provider in Japan. In that role, he worked with Japanese regulatory authorities to obtain licenses to operate telecommunications facilities, as well as the exclusive rights to 240 MHz of radio spectrum to deploy wireless services. He also built and ran the company's marketing organization, including product management, advertising, and promotional activities. Frank has holds a B.A. in Economics from Princeton University.
