President and founder Edward Gosman Sr. , has been involved in the green industry since 1969. He started in the landscaping industry working with a well-established and respected firm in the area. He worked in all aspects of the business to finally become Vice President and General Manger in charge of all projects and field operations. In March of 1981, he stepped out on his own and started Edward Gosman & Associates, Inc. His background speaks for itself. He was in the inaugural class of Virginia Certified Nurseryman,? as well as one of the first to receive his Commercial Pesticide Applicators License in the state of Virginia. He has worked on projects ranging from the Old Dominion University Mall, to hotels and condos on the outer banks, to local businesses and homes in neighborhoods like yours. He has designed many award winning landscapes, and worked with many well-known contractors and builders. He prides himself on treating people fairly, listening to people and providing them with what they want. He is married to Cindy and has two sons, Edward Jr., and Joseph. They reside in Chesapeake.
