Diane Kaufman is the Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources for Ergotron, headquartered in the United States with 4 subsidiaries, China operations and representation in 67 countries. Diane's goal is to contribute to the growth of the company, creating jobs for the future using a straightforward, common sense approach with the utmost passion and compassion. Mrs. Kaufman joined the Ergotron team in February of 2004 and brings over 20 years of Human Resources experience to the HR department. Her overall responsibility is to develop strategic HR initiatives that will cultivate a culture of excellence, values and behaviors that attract, retain and motivate extraordinary talent. Since joining, all Ergotron employees hired are 100% referred and turnover has been reduced nearly 16%. Diane champions a culture of integrity, respect, accountability and pure productivity. Implementing unique programs such as People Mapping, Five weeks of PTO and no paper performance reviews, employees are able to focus on getting things done. Mrs. Kaufman received a track and field scholarship from the University of Minnesota and obtained a Bachelors of Arts degree in Speech Communications with a minor in Social Psychology. Her most valuable mentoring has been pure experience, working side by side with her co-workers, and learning from world-class performers. Besides being a valued member of the Ergotron team, Diane is associated with Junior Achievement, American Diabetes Association, and Aniridia Foundation International. Ergotron is a very charitable company, giving back to the communities it serves. Diane has been married to Jim (ex-Marine Corp Officer, self taught software engineer and small business owner) nearly 25 years and they have a lovely daughter, Jessica, who turned 10 this year. They live on 11 acres out in the country and enjoy gardening, sports, family time, the Twins, Gophers, saving a cat and dog and mowing the lawn!
