Mr. Sahni has more than 12 years experience across multiple facets of strategic marketing, competitive analysis, and quantitative/qualitative research for IT/telecom products and services in the global mass markets. Mr. Sahni has worked on a number of multi-country strategy development and in-field execution engagements. He has developed incisive and actionable behavioral/needs based segmentation models and led development of predictive analytics/models (parametric and non-parametric) for deployment in various customer acquisition scenariosdatabases, telesales, one-on-one sales, etc. He is also frequently involved in studies pertaining to competitive brand assessment, messaging and creative evaluation. His experience spans a range of technology areas, including networking, IP telephony and business management software. Prior to joining AMI-Partners, Mr. Sahni was Senior Analyst, at IDC/LINK, a leading consulting and research firm focused on the personal computer, residential telecommunications, consumer electronics, and multimedia fields. He has also consulted on the impact of new technologies in the small business market, and directed primary market research projects in the fields of personal computing, Internet, and networking. Mr. Sahni authored a number of research reports on the topics of small business and consumer computing and was the project manager for an extensive global study on new media markets in over 10 countries. Mr. Sahni received an MBA in Marketing and International Business from the University of South Carolina as well as a Diploma in International Marketing from the Delhi School of Economics. He has been quoted by leading trade publications such as BusinessWeek, PC Week and Computer Retail Week.
