Mrs. Deborah Kane is the Vice President of Clinical Data Management Services META Solutions. She has over twenty years of experience in Clinical Data Management in the pharmaceutical industry. Mrs. Kane is currently responsible for the management of all META Solutions' Clinical Data Management Services projects. She is responsible for contact with clients from the development of project proposals through data analysis and reporting phases. She is also responsible for the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), review of protocols, design and development of Case Report Forms, preparation of report listings and tables, and performance of regulatory compliance audits and assessments. Mrs. Kane has been with META Solutions since 1993. Prior to joining META Solutions, Mrs. Kane was the Manager of Clinical Data Management at Univax Biologics, and served as the Assistant Director and Manager of Clinical Data Management for Fidia Pharmaceutical Corporation. Her responsibilities included the coordination of departmental systems development and enhancements, coordination and implementation of a departmental project management system, and participation as a Clinical Development Project Leader. At Schering-Plough Pharmaceutical Corporation, Mrs. Kane was a Clinical Data Coordinator responsible for supervising all Clinical Data Coordination data processing efforts, the standardization of department data processing activities, design and development of clinical data processing systems, design and production of data listings and summaries for international registrations, and the coordination of Clinical Data Coordinators and the Medical Department. Mrs. Kane has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Seton Hall University, and has thirty credits toward her MBA in Management/Computer Science. She was a Founder and Chairperson of the Pharmaceutical Industry SAS Users Group (PharmaSUG) and is a member of the DIA. Her past professional affiliations include the Society for Clinical Trials (SCT) and the PMA Clinical Data Management Steering Committee.
