David B. Rottino is LINN Energy's Senior Vice President, Finance and Business Development, and Chief Accounting Officer. LINN Energy's mission is to acquire, develop and maximize cash flow from a growing portfolio of long-life oil and natural gas assets. Mr. Rottino oversees the Company's business development, acquisition, accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax and internal control functions. Prior to joining LINN Energy in June 2008, Mr. Rottino was the Vice President and E&P Controller for El Paso Corporation. Previously, he served at Burlington Resources as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Canadian division and Director of Financial Analysis and Corporate Accounting. Following Burlington's merger with ConocoPhillips, he served as Assistant Controller for ConocoPhillips. Mr. Rottino is a Certified Public Accountant. He earned a bachelor's in Business Administration from Texas Tech University and an MBA from Texas Christian University. He serves on the Board of Camp for All, a nonprofit organization that strives to enrich the lives of people with special needs.
