T. Cy Walker, a partner in the firm's Washington, DC office, has nearly 20 years of experience in all phases of trial and appellate proceedings. Since joining Kenyon & Kenyon in 1999, Mr. Walker's practice has been focused primarily on intellectual property litigation before US District Courts, the ITC and the Federal Circuit. He has been trial counsel in cases involving patents, copyrights and trademarks, and involving a variety of technologies, including semiconductor chip fabrication, wireless communications, digital audio formats, optoelectronics, consumer electronics, internet applications, financial trading algorithms, medical devices, satellites, hybrid drive trains, commercial printing press systems, paper manufacturing processes, data encryption algorithms and software. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Walker also prepares opinions for clients on issues such as validity, infringement and inequitable conduct, and advises clients in licensing and settlement negotiations, and in procuring patent, copyright and trademark protection. Mr. Walker has been a member of the Executive Committee of the ITC Trial Lawyers Association since 2007. He earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from General Motors University (now Kettering University) in 1985, and his J.D., with high honors, from The George Washington University in 1992.
