Colby Collier joined CIT in 1985 after completing Manufacturers Hanover's Management Development Program where he was responsible for sourcing and structuring middle market leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and turnaround opportunities. Mr. Collier joined CIT Equity Investments and Venture Capital at its formation in 1990. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rutland Plastics, Inc. He is a former President of the Northeast Regional Association of Small Business Investment Companies. Mr. Collier was a former director of Sentry Alarm Systems of America, Inc., Rex International Inc., Columbia Holding Corp., Omega Polymer Technologies, Inc., Atlantic Extrusions Corporation, General Products Corporation, FHP Holdings, Inc., International Filing Company, and Lionheart Industries, Inc. Mr. Collier is a graduate of Colgate University, where he received his B.A. in Economics, and completed the Tuck Executive Program of The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.
