CJ Butler's Email & Phone

Mr. Butler, a 34 year veteran of the property management business, brings a unique perspective to his role as energy consultant here at Priority Power Management: that of a former client. As head of the Property Management Group at Holt Lunsford Commercial, Mr. Butler chose PPM to be the sole provider of energy consulting services for one of the region's premier commercial real estate companies. This decision saved Holt tens of millions of dollars in energy expenses over the years and was one of CJ's major accomplishments during his time there. So when Mr. Butler looks across the table at you and tells you that Priority Power is your best choice, he truly believes it, and so should you. After starting his career in 1974 with Gerald D. Hines as a property mgt. trainee, Mr. Butler moved to Dallas to take the position of Director of Property Management for Cadillac Fairview, predecessor of Prentiss Properties. Following his 2 years with CF, Mr. Butler became Vice President of Management Services at Transwestern Property Company-Dallas, where he spent the next 13 years before being promoted to a national role. In 1999, he accepted a position as Director of Management Services at Presidio Investments, an extension of Hunt Realty, which owned 5,000,000 sq. ft. of property throughout the Midwest and Southwest. Following his aforementioned time at Holt Lunsford, Mr. Butler chose to join Priority Power Management in March of 2008 and help bring the service and savings he enjoyed for so long to other real estate companies and markets. Mr. Butler has been an instructor for IREM, and BOMA for many years, focusing most of his time on office buildings, and was Editorial Consultant for Managing and Leasing Office buildings, IREM's text book on the subject. He has also authored several articles on escalation clauses, and HVAC systems. C.J. enjoys the outdoors and is an avid fisherman.
