Christine Deister is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation. She joined the regional airline in November 2004 and leads all financial and administrative functions, including Financial Planning and Analysis, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Risk Management and Insurance, Information Technology (IT) and Strategic Sourcing. Deister works in conjunction with the senior management team on the day-to-day leadership activities of the airline. With her extensive background in the financial aspects of the airline industry, she leads Air Wisconsin initiatives to manage and restructure costs, preserve profitability, enable financial growth, strengthen operating margins, generate positive cash flow and sustain the long-term viability of the airline. Experience. Prior to joining Air Wisconsin, Deister was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Hawaiian Airlines, Honolulu, from 2001 until 2004. She began her career with Trans World Airlines (TWA) in London, England, and subsequently rose to the position of Senior Vice President and Treasurer in TWA's U.S. Corporate Offices. Education.
