Chris Melson has over twenty-five years of experience in the real estate industry, with principal focus on the management of condominiums, cooperatives, and homeowner associations. He has settled, syndicated, rehabilitated, auctioned, sold, marketed, and managed communities in the Washington Metro Area, Delaware, and Florida. For the past thirteen years, Chris has served as a Principal and President of CFM Management Services. In 1992, CFM was selected by Money Magazine as one of the top 100 growth companies in Northern Virginia. Chris is a graduate of Swarthmore College and the past President of The Washington Metropolitan Chapter of Community Associations Institute (CAI), where he has also served as Treasurer and member of The Executive Council. Chris has earned the PCAM, AMS, and CMCA designations from CAI and is a licensed Power Engineer in the State of Maryland. He is a member of The Community Associations Institute, Property Management Association, and The American Society of Association Executives. Chris has been selected to serve on the national faculty of CAI and was recently appointed to serve on the Commonwealth of Virginia Common Interest Community Management Information Fund Advisory Committee.
